FBGR Sires

Stud Services

We offer stud services with select FBGR sires on a case-by-case basis. We take outside breedings seriously — your female's health, your breeding goals, and the quality of any resulting litter matter as much to us as they do to you.

Health Requirements for Outside Females

We take the health of any resulting litter seriously. All outside females must meet the GRCA-recommended health clearances before a breeding can be scheduled. We will not proceed without documentation.

  • Females must have current OFA or PennHIP hip clearances (passing)
  • Current OFA elbow clearances (passing)
  • Current eye clearance (CAER) performed within 12 months
  • Heart clearance (OFA cardiac) within 12 months
  • Current vaccines, heartworm negative, and on prevention
  • Genetic testing for PRA, GR-PRA1, GR-PRA2, and ichthyosis
  • No prior history of brucellosis
  • We reserve the right to decline any pairing that does not meet GRCA health guidelines

How the Process Works

01

Reach Out

Contact us with information about your female — her pedigree, health clearances, and your breeding goals. We review every inquiry before moving forward.

02

Health Verification

Share copies of all current OFA clearances, genetic testing, and vet records. We verify everything before scheduling.

03

Breeding Agreement

We use a written stud service agreement that outlines our fee structure, terms (live puppy guarantee or repeat breeding), and expectations for both parties.

04

Breeding

We typically prefer natural breeding with vet-confirmed progesterone testing to time the breeding correctly. Chilled or frozen semen options may be available for remote pairings — inquire for details.
