Purina Pro Plan Sport Performance 30/20 Chicken & Rice
This is what we feed our dogs and what your puppy will be eating at go-home. It is a performance formula, and it works well for field-bred Goldens that need fuel for a real job and still settle in the house.
- ✓Puppies are fully weaned and eating this dry kibble at pickup — no need to soak it.
- ✓If you want to switch foods later, buy a small bag of this same formula and transition slowly to avoid digestive upset.

Gunner Kennels — Intermediate
Gunner is our go-to kennel for safety, durability, and long-term travel. They are crash-tested and built to last. We use the Intermediate size for our Goldens.
- ✓A standard airline-approved soft or hard carrier works for an 8-week-old puppy (typically under 10 lbs).
- ✓If you are flying in, you can ship a new carrier ahead of time and we will introduce your puppy to it before travel.

Looking for training?
Board-and-train for obedience and gun dog work is through Utah Bird Dog Training. We usually like puppies to go home first, then come back around six months when they are ready to work.
