About Miley.

Miley joined the FBGR program from another breeder who was thoughtfully downsizing, and we have absolutely loved getting to know her. She is athletic, eager to please, and a true hard charger with excellent marking ability and plenty of energy.

Her lighter coat is also a good reminder that color does not determine working ability. Field-bred Golden Retrievers come in a wide range of shades, and Miley has all the natural desire, athleticism, and intensity we look for in a hunting dog. She is an enthusiastic field partner, a devoted family companion, and her lighter coloring blends beautifully into the grass and marsh.

Miley’s pedigree is exceptionally accomplished. Both of her parents have earned Master Hunter and HRCH titles, and three of her four grandparents are also heavily titled. Miley easily earned her Junior Hunter title (JH) before the age of two and is continuing her retriever education with blind retrieves and handling work.

She has the drive to hunt hard, the trainability to keep progressing, and the temperament to be a wonderful companion at home. Miley is truly the kind of versatile hunting partner we value, and we are thrilled to have her as part of the FBGR program.
