About Covey.

Covey is one of the newest additions to the FBGR program, but she comes from familiar, proven bloodlines that we know and love. She is a half-sister to our stud Boss, and her maternal grandsire is Rowdy—a dog we have successfully used in our program. We know these lines well and are thrilled with the qualities Covey brings forward.

Covey has tremendous drive, desire, and natural ability. She enters the water with confidence, marks exceptionally well, and shows impressive intensity for a young dog. She earned her Junior Hunter title (JH) with a 100% pass rate, handled entirely by our son Crew. As Crew has learned more about retriever training, the two of them have developed into an incredible team.

Covey is continuing to advance in her retriever work and is learning to handle at a higher level. She is fast, athletic, intelligent, and eager to work, with the trainability needed to channel all that drive productively.

Shortly after her second birthday, Covey completed her final hip and elbow clearances and earned her CHIC number. We could not be more pleased with how she has developed and are excited for the role she will play in the future of the FBGR breeding program.
